Chairman's Report
Mick welcomed everyone to the meeting and checked that everyone had received all the documents.
Mick congratulated The Unbearables for winning the league and Hoppers for their promotion.
Mick stated that he may be stepping down as Chairman at the end of the season.
Mick thanked Clare Sabourn and Jackie Moran for their work as Secretary and Treasurer and all of the committee members. Claire Howes does a great job getting raffle prizes.
Mick wished everyone good luck for the coming season.

Treasurer's Report
Jackie distributed the end of year accounts and confirmed there was £86.26 remaining in the bank.
There were no questions and the accounts were proposed by Josh Mole, Seconded by Gary Simpson.
Team Registrations
New team Wonky Arrows – Clare welcomed the new team who were proposed by TJ, Seconded by Steve Clark.
Registration forms were handed out. £50 registration fee could be paid by cash, cheque or bank transfer (preferred).
Rule Changes to Rule 8
- Allow players to sign on up to 2 players after the 31st December deadline
A comment was made about teams signing on County players at the last minute. It was agreed that players could not be signed on once there were only 4 fixtures remaining. All in agreement.
- Need to have played at least 4 games in either pairs or singles to qualify for the pairs/singles competitions.

- Some competitions to be held at the Rugby Club
The Hoppers would also like to hold competitions which could start next season. As the Rugby Club holds comedy events, dates would need to be checked before booking. It was proposed that a competition that could be held there in May. Tom explained the set up at the Rugby Club with all seating and tables in the middle of the venue. Claire confirmed that the committee had visited the Rugby Club to check the set up.

AOB
- Home teams not providing food must notify the away team 24hrs before the fixture. Please let Clare know in the whatsapp group if you will not be providing food so teams know in advance for all matches.
- A discussion took place on how many teams should be promoted/demoted. This would depend on how many teams in the leagues. It was agreed that 2 teams would be promoted and 1 demoted. All new teams will join in the A division.
- The charity night will be held on 13th March 2026. Teams were asked to sell 'squares' at their venues to raise more money. The charities were agreed as St. Catherine's, Gateway and Sister Share.
- New website – Josh talked through the new website. Team captains will be given their own log-ins to enter scores. Scores must be added by Monday at 5pm after the match.
- Electric scoreboards must show the previous score and be visible to the players.
- Let Clare (league secretary) know if you wish to add players.
- Please try to ensure that away teams have seating allocated to them so they can see the scores.
